The toads approach along Station Road from the north (crossing the railway bridge), Station Close from the east (this is a road to a touring caravan site), Sandy Lane from the south and Home Close to the west.The busiest road is Sandy Lane/Station Road. Toads also cross the common to the south of Home Close (running roughly parallel to Sandy Lane) and we pick up a lot there before they try to cross the road. I’m afraid that any that cross the railway line are on their own!
